Chrystofer was named the 2011 Stars – Urban Street/Fashion Photo Competition winner. Benson was named the North American Hair Colorist of the Year – 2010 winner by NAHA. NAHA has also named him to the finals of the Fashion Forward category in 2011, the Hair Color category finals again in 2011, 2010, 2009, and the Contemporary Classic category final in 2008. In 2004, Benson was tapped by the industry leader L’Oreal to be the Lead Trainer of Education and Creative for one of the U.S. top hairstyling academies, and later to the positions as one of the beauty giant’s Artistic Directors. With his drive and vision, Chrystofer inspires artists all over the world. Undeniably one of the most progressive hairstylists of our time, he continually elevates his own art form constantly touring with MATRIX and his team; he mounts spellbinding main stage show performances, productions, creative trainings, and collaborates with photographers to create stunning images that elevate hairdressing to an overall art form.
